Okavango Catfish Run 2011

The Okavango River offers arguably the most consistent and exciting tiger fishing in the Okavango and Zambezi catchments.
Each year from September through to December the Okavango River plays host to one of Africa’s most intriguing natural spectacles - The Catfish Run. As the Catfish congregate in numbers to feed on the baitfish forced off the flood plains, so too do the Tourette Fishing guests, as they prepare to target the marauding tiger fish that take advantage of this feeding frenzy.
Based in an exclusive tented camp overlooking the river and with a maximum of 6 rods per week, this fully guided 5 night tiger fishing package, which includes flights from JHB, is excellent value for money. With over 10 years experience in the area, a unique mobile fly camping option, and the finest guides giving you their full attention, fishing the Okavango over the catfish run is a great option for novice and experienced anglers alike.
We have the following dates available for 2 to 6 rods:
· 26 Sep – 1 Oct
· 15 Oct – 20 Oct
· 20 Oct – 25 Oct
· 27 Oct – 1 Nov
